Supercomputer drawing drug firm to Butte

A yet-to-be-announced company is expected to locate in Butte to take advantage of the Rocky Mountain Supercomputer — and anticipates creating new jobs as well.

Dan Harrington, director of development at the Butte-based Interactive Technology Group Inc., and others made the announcement during a presentation Wednesday in the Thornton Building in Uptown Butte.

Interactive Technology Group (ITG) Develops and Delivers Multimedia Content.

We work with content experts to convert their information into an interactive environment, which can then be delivered on CD-ROM or on the Internet.

Our clients include educators and schools, private corporations, nonprofit entities and other groups who understand the power of interactivity in reaching their audience.

ITG's multimedia products can be ordered in CD-ROM format, or online. Subscribers can access ITG's online software any time, from anywhere in the world. Learners receive unlimited on-line access to multimedia titles of their choice, which include tutorials and assessments.
